Step into Santa’s workshop where science, technology, engineering, art, and math come together to create holiday magic! In this festive class, students will explore the STEM behind toy-making, the physics of snowflakes, and the engineering of Santa’s sleigh. They'll use creativity and critical thinking to solve problems, build structures, and bring their own holiday inventions to life. This class combines the joy of the season with hands-on learning, allowing students to experience how STEAM concepts are used to make the holiday season run smoothly.
Set on a hobby farm on the outskirts of New Braunfels, students will collaborate with peers as they explore and observe the natural world around them. This class provides opportunities to interact with animals, investigate the garden, and engage in authentic, sensory-rich experiences. With animals in the classroom and plenty of outdoor exploration, students will connect science concepts to real-life encounters in a fun and meaningful way.
Each day, in addition to the day's topics, students will have time outside, weather permitting. Students will need a sack lunch, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. A snack will be provided.
