From sunny skies to stormy clouds, this class invites young learners to explore the ever-changing world of weather. Students will engage their curiosity as they observe natural patterns and phenomena happening right above their heads. With opportunities to ask questions, investigate, and think like young scientists, this class encourages a deeper appreciation for the skies and the forces that shape our weather.
Set on a hobby farm on the outskirts of New Braunfels, students will collaborate with peers as they explore and observe the natural world around them. This class provides opportunities to interact with animals, investigate the garden, and engage in authentic, sensory-rich experiences. With animals in the classroom and plenty of outdoor exploration, students will connect science concepts to real-life encounters in a fun and meaningful way.
Each day, in addition to the day's topics, students will have time outside, weather permitting. Students will need a sack lunch, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. A snack will be provided.
