Transformation is all around us—especially in nature! In this class, students will explore the fascinating process of change and growth in the animal kingdom. With a focus on observation and discovery, they’ll dive into the concept of metamorphosis and consider how living things change. Through hands-on exploration and creative thinking, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the cycles and stages of life all around them.
Set on a hobby farm on the outskirts of New Braunfels, students will collaborate with peers as they explore and observe the natural world around them. This class provides opportunities to interact with animals, investigate the garden, and engage in authentic, sensory-rich experiences. With animals in the classroom and plenty of outdoor exploration, students will connect science concepts to real-life encounters in a fun and meaningful way.
Each day, in addition to the day's topics, students will have time outside, weather permitting. Students will need a sack lunch, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. A snack will be provided.
