Put on your detective hat and get ready to solve some science mysteries! In this investigative class, students will step into the shoes of a forensic scientist, using critical thinking and observation skills to explore how science can help solve puzzles and uncover clues. With an emphasis on problem-solving, logic, and curiosity, this class invites young learners to ask questions, analyze evidence, and think like real-world investigators.
Set on a hobby farm on the outskirts of New Braunfels, students will collaborate with peers as they explore and observe the natural world around them. This class provides opportunities to interact with animals, investigate the garden, and engage in authentic, sensory-rich experiences. With animals in the classroom and plenty of outdoor exploration, students will connect science concepts to real-life encounters in a fun and meaningful way.
Each day, in addition to the day's topics, students will have time outside, weather permitting. Students will need a sack lunch, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. A snack will be provided.
