From seed to sprout, students will dig into the wonders of gardening and plant life. This class encourages budding botanists to observe the world around them, ask questions about how things grow, and develop an appreciation for the natural cycles of life. Through exploration and hands-on discovery, students will connect with the science behind plants while cultivating curiosity, responsibility, and a love for nature.
Set on a hobby farm on the outskirts of New Braunfels, students will collaborate with peers as they explore and observe the natural world around them. This class provides opportunities to interact with animals, investigate the garden, and engage in authentic, sensory-rich experiences. With animals in the classroom and plenty of outdoor exploration, students will connect science concepts to real-life encounters in a fun and meaningful way.
Each day, in addition to the day's topics, students will have time outside, weather permitting. Students will need a sack lunch, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. A snack will be provided.
